Sample Heroes of Rifts Earth

40 original, ready-to-play heroes on the Iconic Frameworks: 15 solo heroes, then 7 groups of two to six.

Using These Heroes

Every hero here is an original, built the way Character Creation describes: a normal Savage Worlds character from the core steps, with an Iconic Framework on top and, for the non-humans, an ancestry from D-Bees & Mutants. Use them as pre-made heroes for a one-shot, as Tomorrow Legion allies, or as a starting point for your own. Rename them and change their stories freely.

The numbers follow what this guide states:

Left to the Rifts books. This guide describes the frameworks, ancestries and Mega Damage gear in words and points to Rifts: The Tomorrow Legion Player's Guide for the exact numbers, so the cards do too. The Framework and Ancestry lines describe what each package does; any attribute bonuses, extra Edges, racial abilities and Size it grants come from the Player's Guide and are not added to the dice and statistics shown. Toughness on the cards is therefore before armor: add the Armor value of the hero's Mega Damage armor (Rifts has no separate MDC pool; armor is an Armor value that is either Mega Damage or not, see Weapons & Gear). Weapon damage, power armor statistics, Strain values for implants, Mega Power Modifiers, Universal Credits and the Hero's Journey table results all come from the books too. The Hero's Journey line on each card is a story hook; roll the tables for its game effect.

Fifteen heroes are Seasoned (including the twelve M.A.R.S. heroes, who start with four Advances under the 2019 SWADE update) and one is Veteran; their cards list their Advances in order. The round badge shows each hero's Rank (N Novice, S Seasoned, V Veteran). The Build line on each card shows the point check.

Play them on the character sheet. Every hero on this page is in one JSON file, with the Rifts page filled in: Iconic Framework, PPE or ISP, Mega Damage armor and weapons, power armor, Hero's Journey and the setting rules in play. Weapons and armor carry real stats from the free Savage Rifts SWADE update (2019): the framework's starting gear where the update lists it, otherwise a model labeled as a GM choice, with Toughness in armor, Strain, the Glitter Boy suit and starting credits worked out. Each card's At the table line shows Toughness in armor, weapons, PPE or ISP, Strain and credits. Download the file, open the character sheet, choose Import, then pick a hero from the list.
